The wonderful thing about KC’s PT practice is that it’s a whole-human practice. It’s heartfelt. You might go there expecting to get a diagnosis and a recommendation for some exercises. You do get that (she’s way knowledgeable—whoa) but what you come out with is vastly more and vastly better. KC will address the root cause of your pain, might even address the fear or trauma you hold in your body that’s exacerbating that pain. You’ll learn to breathe more deeply, to treat yourself more kindly. Hers is such a refreshing and soulful practice that way. If you trust her, hear her out, keep coming back, the way you see and use your body will change for the better.

This is almost unheard of in the medical world now days but not here. She is a great physical therapist. I am seeing her for neck pain. She has made the numbness and tingling in my arms and hands almost go away in 4 short visits.

If you are looking for a physical therapist that truly cares and wants the best for you physically and mentally then you've found the place. KC is a very knowledgeable physical therapist and takes her time to listen to you to really understand what is going on. Then she comes up with a game plan to help you achieve those goals. I highly recommend KC. Don't take my word for it though, make an appointment and find out for yourself.

What’s Unique About Physical Therapy at The Middle Way?

KC is a bit of a rogue physical therapist. She received her degree from a TOP 10 Physical Therapy Program, at Northwestern University, but hasn’t stopped there. She has continued to dive deep into continued learning to develop as many skills as possible to make a positive difference for her patients.

Then she left mainstream medical care because, well, it sucked. It didn’t give her the time and space she needed to make a significant change with patients. It worked great for people who simply needed a little bit of manual therapy and some exercise to get stronger. But for anyone who had stress, anxiety, long term chronic pain, or multiple areas of pain – the corporate healthcare or hospital healthcare system didn’t seem to do the job.

KC actually gets to spend an hour with you. EVERY SINGLE TIME. No gimmicks or jokes about it. She’ll email you information or details from your visit so you have additional resources to pull from when you are done.

There is no set plan that insurance dictates. If you can and need to see her 2 or 3 times per week, we can do that. If it’s once or twice per month, that is an option too. If you need to see her when you can which might happen to be every 3 months, that too will work.

Because this is KC’s practice, she gets to do what you need to get better. That might mean exercise, that might mean yoga, that might mean breathwork, it might mean mental/emotional support.  You could have cupping or dry needling done, if your body needs it.

This is completely a whole person practice. Because let’s be completely honest here, your body and mind are connected. What you think impacts your body and your experience, and if you want to have a different experience in your body, it helps to understand this connection.

KC is in a unique position to help a variety of physical levels. She herself participates in endurance mountain bike rides every year and has been known to scale sandstone cliffs in her spare time, but equally loves spending warm afternoons piddling around her garden and doing nothing.

Do you want to see what’s possible in your body? Want to feel light and alive again? Want to end the pain, get rid of the numbness, and get back to your life again?
